A man from Nantucket there once was,
He fancies the island because,
To be W’Isle Away,
Is to spend every day,
In the company of friends that he loves.
Is it cheesy? Yes. But would you rather I wrote out the traditional limerick?
As a family, we’ve been vacationing on Nantucket since the early 90’s. And ever since my parents bought W’Isle Away, the vacations have become more frequent and more enjoyable. The island is one of my favorite places to go as it is full of old-world romanticism and charm and is endlessly relaxing. My dad and I even each spent a summer there roughly 30 years apart. I have hundreds of pictures from trips to Nantucket, but since I don’t want to spend the time sorting through them all, I’ve decided to post the various “group shots” that I could easily locate.
